I'm not sure I believe (hah) in the notion of "faith-based political views" at all.
These people believe what they need to believe, interpret their religion in the way they need to, to justify what they *want* to be true instead of taking personal responsibility for their disgusting opinions.
Their version of god, their faith is of their own making, and they wave this imagined 'higher authority' of theirs around like nothing else.

This is fantastic and, in a moment of synchronicity that a conspiracy theorist would find irresistible, I finished drafting a quantitative report for my undergraduate degree just prior to watching the video, which used the Jasinskaja-Lahti and Jetten paper as a significant source. That exact quote you cited regarding religion as self-categorisation vs the strength of endorsement in religious worldviews, was a key element to my research design. A really interesting subject which I would love to research more. Anyway, I just wanted to say it was very cool to watch this video at this time and I appreciate your videos as always.

Hi Anna! I'm glad you liked the video. I won't be doing anything about Candace Owens, though. I recently polled some of my patrons about potentially expanding to videos about media personalities, and the results were more "no" votes than "yes" votes. I might revisit the subject in a year or two, but for now, no videos solely about Alex Jones, Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens, etc.

ooohh!! This was great! Do boebert and cawthorne next! Although i see them both more as grifters than true believers like MTG. Also, i remember reading you were considering doing videos on pundits and right wing personalities? I’d love to watch something you’d create about Candace Owens.
