This video was so reassuring because the PNW just had a "historic, record breaking" heat wave, so I've been thinking about this obsessively. I am stunned by how few people are concerned about climate change and it makes me doubt my own conclusions.
As a note though, the video focuses heavily on natural elements and official planning. If one has kids that makes sense, but as a single person I'm more concerned about how other people will react. For example, I worry the old money culture of the East coast will ultimately result in higher rates of violence than the Midwest or West coast. Religiosity of an area too. I'm sure that's in the book mentioned at the beginning, which I'm going to go check out right now.
