End of Month report, July '24
Added 2024-07-29 19:34:00 +0000 UTCHello everyone! This has been another interesting month, getting a whole bunch of words in. The Iron Pen was a moderate success; we got quite a few things done but didn't get everything in, unfortunately with the June and July Iron Pens being so close together a bit of fatigue happened. Turns out more than two weeks are needed in order to recover for that sort of thing.
July was also the month where I realized that I had gotten a little too technical for Ren'Py. So I've been starting to learn Unity or Unreal in order to make games that are a little more complex. As much as I enjoyed the previous engine this is necessary if we want to create something fun, and the nice thing is that in order to learn we have some microgames planned.
So plans for August! It's going to be a lot of administrative tasks. Aside from the 5k a day for writing there are plans for editing to get some books done, update the website, learn Unity, and get ready for IndyFurCon. Webcomics are also coming, scheduling to make the updates a little more regular then the shotgun approach.
Going to be very productive as per usual so expect to see a lot of content coming!
