Rain and Shine Direction Poll
Added 2023-06-13 19:37:22 +0000 UTCSo now that you've gotten a taste for the point and click adventure style that Raven is bringing with Escape From the Factory I have a question. As we finish up with the demo and eye up opening Talon, Tooth, and Paw to the general public would you prefer Rain and Shine to remain a Visual Novel game or be converted to a Point and Click adventure?

Personally I do prefer visual novel. If for no other reason than it's just a lot easier to know what to do. Point and click style games can have issues where it just isn't clear what if anything there is to interact with and there usually isn't really any obvious indicator for what clicking on something might do. The clarity of the visual novel style in both intent and options just makes it easier to understand and use while keeping the enjoyable visuals.

2023-06-13 20:46:21 +0000 UTCIndeed, and with having to integrate pictures for the backgrounds anyway this is the perfect time to transition, if we go too far past this and start integrating things then we'll pretty much be stuck with wherever we go with it.
