End of Month Report - October 2020

Another month in the books!  We had a surge of newcomers thanks to the public build of Rain and Shine releasing and we also had a few take advantage of the annual pledge donation.  There were a lot of stories that were finished as well and we finished the Halloween Anthology as well.  All in all it was a good month with a very strong finish, which will definitely help with not only getting more assets for Rain and Shine but also aiding in finally securing a Sabrewolf Den/Studio!

Speaking of the push for the new den there's been an influx of new commissions that have come in and thanks to that we'll be shutting that down for the rest of the year save for maybe a single platinum opening I might do in Christmas to try and help with gifts.  I also discovered during this time that Twine hates complex programming, which has forced me to sudo-abandon the project until I think of way to compress out the coding or just expand the game without it.  Either way the next interactive project will be more just silly writing and transformation.

The last thing is the introduction of website-based rewards that will be implemented for November.  As I mentioned before I will provide a link here at the start of the month which will bring you to the respective tier to which all the content can be found.  I will still keep the ability to download since it turned out to be super easy to set up but also will have the ability to read the stories right there on the webpage.  The interactives are already set up in the same manner so no change there, and versions of Rain and Shine will also still be able to be downloaded as well as played right on the website.  If it turns out this system doesn't work very well I'll switch it back to the old method of posting everything here, but I think this will definitely streamline this patreon for less clutter, especially with the new stuff being added.

Alright, on to the projections for November.  It's going to be a heavy writing month in order to clear the backlog by the end of the year, which is what the stream will be focused on as well.  That being said the interactive will also be in play plus I'm going to be trying to add in more sprite assets and placeholders to Rain and Shine as well as fixing more bugs in the first section of the survivor and corrupter section, so it's very likely we're going to see a November Rain and Shine update.  November is also going to be a call for cameos for the arcade and casino portions of the game, so for those that have the ability to get various cameos I would keep my eyes peeled for when they're offered.

That's about it for that, once again I would like to extend a huge thank you to all my patreon supporters both new and old and hopefully we can keep this trend going into 2021 to start the big push to finish Rain and Shine!

"Twine hates complex programming" Feel free to hit me up in November. I know a thing or two about software engineering, and I'd love to take a whack at Twine.
