CYOA - Head towards the Male Statue

Nyte tells you good luck and gives you the shield token, and after activating it once more you begin to walk into the darkness.  Almost immediately your senses start going off that there is demonic power in this room, and as you watch the edges of the darkness attempting to advance on you it is like watching tendrils of shadow coiling around the edges.  The air is almost oppressive and as you get closer to the male demon statue you had decided to go towards.  You see the smooth surface of the stone starting to chip and crack, the power of the corruption around you already starting to seep in.

When you get to the statue itself its clear from your power that this is not just an altar, and as you look up as the chiseled physique of the male demon you can feel the essence of a creature dwelling inside.  With your power you could connect with it, your eyes staring at the erect maleness that the statue boasted, and by giving the spirit inside a little boost you could draw it into yourself.  You could almost see the spirit possessing it trying to reach out to you, but at the moment there was nothing it could do but watch as the divine energy swirled around you still.  As you went down from the purple stone of the demon to the alter you take some time to investigate that as well.

In the middle of the altar is a black feather that seems to sway back and forth slightly though you don't feel any wind.  You aren't quite sure what it's all about and your newfound ability was getting a lot of interference from the shield.  As you look to the left of it you find a bowl that contained a red liquid, and though your early guess made your stomach turn slightly when you lean down and take a sniff you realize that it's wine.  The mere smell makes you slightly dizzy from the heady aroma and quickly pull your head back.  On the other side of the altar is a stick of incense that is completely embedded into a small block of gold that you could light if you wanted.
