Rain and Shine - An Update

Alright, so as I'm sure you all know I've started the inclusion of sprites and such into the game, which will finally put the much needed artwork into the game which will help bring the Visual part of Visual Novel.  That being said it's caused a bit of a disjointed nature in the game itself and so when it comes to the next update later this month you may find more bugs and errors than usual, especially in the newer content where more things are being implemented.  The next Survivor mission will also not be completed by that point as the shelter companions on both sides are going to be fleshed out now that there are graphical representations of them.

The reason for this is two-fold, the aforementioned graphical updates and because I'm making a run to finish the last of the overdue commissions that have been hanging around my queue for far too long.  In the next two months (May-June) the game as it stands is going to undergo a massive overhaul from top to bottom; not only will the game be combed over module by module for glitches and spelling errors but will also include the sprites, background (temporary for the moment), and sound effects.  The main NPC's (Mason, Don, Serene, and Charles) will also be getting fleshed out and with the finishing of two missions there will be far more interactivity with them.

There will also be one more thing that is coming with the June update, and that will be the inclusion of much more NSFW content.  Since the game is going to have a clean version and a naughty version it's far easier to build the clean part and then 'layer' the naughty part on top.  Since I have included M/F, M/M, and many other different pairings it also means that each naughty part (particularly in the bad ends section) requires extensive writing in order to include everything.  The decision to turn this from an exclusively M/M game to something everyone can enjoy meant a huge increase in complexity, but in the end I wanted the first game to be able to reach as many people in possible and though I know I won't please everyone the player's option to restrict pairings and fetishes means they can play the way they want too, which is what I want.

As far as total game completion I feel like the survivor side is at about %30 complete and the corrupter side is %10.  With the writing backlog being finished and commissions being put to the side I expect those numbers to go up rather quickly and by June the completed sections are going to be a polished experience.
