Ascent Mission To Risky 500m “Iron Route” Peak

Firstly, I acknowledge the lateness of this post in relation to the video upload on youtube. I usually tend to share the video on both platforms near the same time, but it was difficult to do it this time because I am on the move.

This Via Ferrata was the longest one we have done so far. It is not too technically demanding, but due to the length of the climb, it was challenging. I tend to do a lot of these type of climbs when the weather allows, so I thought it would be fun to finally share one. The tower we climb after the ferrata ascent was on the same mountain, but a bit further away. It probably was around 100m, but since it was on top of a steep mountain slope overlooking the valley, the view was incredible! Lastly, the abandoned festival grounds we stayed at and later explored felt surreal. The contrast of the ominous night atmosphere upon arrival and the blissful and calm morning made it seem dreamy. The artistically designed structures, vast distances, fields of flowers and the flooded lake nearby, made wondering around the premises a very special experience.

I am currently finishing up the music video for the first song, from the new album. The video and the album should release in a few days if all goes according to plan. I am excited to finally share this project and to start releasing more new music.

The comment about his weight was unnecessary…

Checkmate does well considering he carries a bit of weight and he must be quite fit to do that climb. If there was bit of moisture on the those rocks then that climb would have been really tricky.

enjoyed the return of the cooking segment (:

While your video presentations always offer wonderful camera shots & intriguing content, I must compliment & commend a special talent quite unique. For me, a true joy in viewing is your ability to provide descriptive dialogue, narrative & insightful comments, and amusing “banter” with travel companions, area locals, & even animals. Yes, you can almost be poetic & philosophical while addressing your viewers. This is what makes your videos so entertaining and makes you so endearing to your audience. I truly marvel & appreciate this talent. As always, thank you for sharing!
