4x4 Journey Across Wildlands of Georgia
Added 2024-09-03 20:22:02 +0000 UTCThe train ride out of Tbilisi didn't go according to plan, but we immediately moved on further. After spending a chill day in Kutaisi, we rented a 4x4 and drove off into the mountains. Our goal was to reach the highest village in Europe - Ushguli. We were both very excited for this part of the journey as this was something new for both of us. The views along the roads were amazing as always and it felt great moving at our own pace again.
I decided to upload this video un-parted. Initially the idea was to part it out like previously, but as I began editing it I realized it is best to keep this one full. For continuity, I also rendered together the previous three parts of the train journey and uploaded them along side this one.
I took a bit of a break from videos and music past couple months. I have a lot of things I still want to film and create, but I still have some mental barriers to work through. Even though videos are coming out slower now, I am still passionate about creating and will continue to work on sharing new things. Let me know if you like the long-form videos. More on the way :)

Another handy hint might be to have your foot on the gas for a little bit so that ABS will kick in and try to brake the wheel that's slipping and send torq to the other ones

2025-05-16 04:35:45 +0000 UTCDeinflated offroad tires around 10-20 PSI would've likely saved you from getting stuck. There was a dial for enabling 4x4 low behind the transmission yoke as well.

Really love the long-form video as it helps to keep the momentum created by the footage and the editing: it is worth any additional time you need for these kind of videos. Be safe and take your time for your mental health: living out there is so difficult for individuals with personality and sensitivity not aligned with nowaday' system.

As part of this, I accept that this also means freedom to upload when you want and what you want. Was this 15 min long, then I would have watched it yesterday. Now I have something tot look out for when I have more time this evening or tomorrow. That is my freedom experience and how I like to consume this content.
