Cycling Journey To The Adriatic Sea PART 3

Waking up in the center of Mostar, on the roof of an abandoned building, was beautiful and tiring. The songs from the mosques didn't let me sleep long and the lack of it started affecting me in the second part of the day. The road was smooth, the temperature was pleasant and emotions were good up until the rocky old railroad route. However, realizing I was in control of all my actions, I decided to spend the evening resting and enjoying the serenity abandonment - getting ready from the challenges of next day.

Since I got another strike on the youtube channel - this video got delayed. While I was waiting to get access to my channel back, I posted a website exclusive video. Currently, everything is back to normal.

I currently don't work, but when I start earning, I hope to donate you 1k$ (it's a lot in my country)

When I see your videos, I forget for a moment this fucking society and all its rules and conditions... one feels your joy in your experiences and automatically feels free for this moment

This is so cool. Bliss indeed! Including all those bats in the dark tunnels.

Another awesome video. I've got "Make It Back" blasting on this beautiful, dark & rainy day in the UK.

Laura Auld

Lol! At 0:34 the green graffiti is a logo of a football club from my hometown. How did it get there 😂

rune

Awesome great video, and very nice route that you are travelling, with the bridges, tunnels, abandoned village etc. Thanks for these great videos.

Chainsaw

When most people say they'd like to walk the bridge, they mean down where the tracks are. 😄

Rue de Day

What a place to sleep absolutely amazing as always shiey!

Uiloe

Great. Love what you do. Repurposed train right of ways are ingenious. Stay safe brother... living vicariously through your adventures.

Brian Stauffer

Amazing Shiey, keep going! Can't wait for the next vid

He could make a lot of money if he wanted to and he could do it through a limited company to keep his anonymity and earning via the adverts. I think you are right that he is not out to make lots of money and his motivations are in what he does. At some point he will probably realise money makes life easier and lets you help others around you, which can be a good thing.

Ian M

YouTube isn’t too big on “illegal” activities like train surfing, trespassing etc - from what I gather he’s had videos taken down before because they violate YT’s Ts and C’s which is why he has a backup channel, but I suppose another issue is probably anonymity as the last few videos and music videos could all be monetised really as there’s nothing against their rules within those videos, but YouTube is owned by Google and to monetise content you need to prove your identity to get a Google AdSense account, and given that he doesn’t show his face if the videos aren’t linked to him then he can’t be tracked down. Just a theory though, I don’t actually know for sure. He doesn’t strike me as someone who is out to make loads of money from his content, but videos, travel, equipment, software, food, rent etc all cost money - hence the Patreon page so people can support directly :) - but again these are just my theories I might be way off haha.

Naomi

Just wondering, why can't he monetize them? He takes the risks, to make spectacular content and he should get paid, but not sure if he likes money.

Ian M

Great scenery and a safety rope would come in handy when doing some of your crazy stuff. If anyone reading this likes amazing scenery and wants to see stuff like this, visit Scotland. Check out tower ridge route on Ben Bevis and its a little bit tricky and you need basic climbing skills, but well worth it. If you are a beginner then the lost valley walk at Glencoe, starts at the three sisters car park. is also spectacular. It would be good to see a Shiey video of these routes to see what he makes of them.

Ian M

stunning vistas! you are awesome!!!

jan

Finally got round to joining your Patreon! Love your videos and just want to say a huge thanks for posting even though you can’t monetise them! Hopefully I can contribute to help feed the animals you always seem to find on your travels! 😹

Naomi

Hi Shiey, truly outstanding video and trip. The views are incredibly beautiful, especially on the old railway line. Too bad I never got to that part of Bosnia. As usual, I followed along on the map. Super job. Thank you!! Very best, John
