Mission Across Tatra Mountain Valley Peaks

The mountains relax me. This mission was more to test myself rather than to reach a goal. As I was hiking through the bottom of the valley, I couldn't take my eyes of the peaks surrounding me. At first, seeing the distances it felt impossible, but the more I thought about it - the more realistic it got. Like I mention in the video - I had no idea how long or how difficult the mission would be, but I wanted to at least try the route I imagined while looking from below.

This video was to be finished quite earlier, but due to some personal issues it got delayed. I always want to upload more often, but I struggle to find a balance. I've been doing more thinking than acting these past months, but I have plenty of footage I'm working on now, so more adventures are coming!

I also love running water, just something about it.

Might be the most stressful video I have watched from you. Glad you didn't get hurt.

Darrell Ramey

Another youtuber posted this video analysis about shiey's mountain trek and he describes mistakes shiey made due to his lack of experience on a mountain. In his opinion shiey got lucky he did not get seriously hurt, but I think his analysis shows just how dangerous and real the shiey video is, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNMN4S0M_W4&ab_channel=I%27dRatherBeHiking

Ugh, for someone who has a fear of heights, this was so intense, yet so satisfying. Thanks for your work sir!

Nikola R

Amazing video!! You're crazy. Stay safe!🏴‍☠️

Thomas Gaglio

Somehow the danger in this as you spidered over a literal spine of the earth was so much more real to me than when you're on the top of some man made thing. It was so raw and indifferently cold and unforgiving. This one just must have filled up the meter a little extra, I think. What an incredible thing to have in your memory forever.

Chris Harwood

Good to see you back in action Shiey. Heroic climb mate.

Andrew Robson

This was an awesome deviation from your typical videos. I wish I could have been there with you!

Brock McLellan

This was absolutely epic Shiey. Damn I wish I could have trekked along. Absolutely beautiful peaks. Well worth the risk. Stay safe brother!

Dylan Robinson

One of your best videos I've seen and you should check out the Scottish mountains for some epic treks and climbs. The Tower Ridge route up Ben Bevis is similar to what you did on this video.

Ian M

Awesome Mission.

Michael

Love it! Be Safe!

Bobby Schwartz

Props to doing this sketchy climb solo!!!

Timothy

It was gripping✨😎I’m from Hungary originally, so the Tátra was close to us, we were there but not like this😄🏔️

Boglarka Kassai

Chill video, you must have put some serious kilometres in

Polar Void Picture

Nice. The gopro makes the angles look way steeper. The video reminded me of my hike in Lofoten mountains in Norway💪🏻

Pärmi

shiey should definitely try rock climbing, i bet he ll enjoy it

Mihai Calitescu

really enjoyed this one! take care ❤️

At first, I thought it's a mistake and you could not have visited Tatry or "Vysoke Tatry" as I know them, the only mountains but one of the nicest places in Slovakia, my home country. But then when I saw the first second I recognized it and felt gracious! I always appreciated your content, but now - this is different - in a personal way :) Thank you for that!

Simon Daniel

Scary but beautiful adventure, thanks for sharing! As a Slovak I'm really honoured you've gone for Tatras this time.

skypy

Great adventure brother. Thank you.

Brian Stauffer

love it!

Alexander S

You reach heights that are amazing. We always so look forward to your videos. Keep doing what you're doing!

Sabrina Doster

Love it! Wonder if glow sticks would be a good addition to the kit list. Pop one on the tarp if you want to go for a wander in the middle of the night 🌙.

Aaron Thomas

This made my day. Thanks! And, as a bonus, we get Shiey's best goat impression 😁

Martin Chovancik

Such a beautiful place. Thanks for taking us with you.

Butow Romey

Fantastic! Was on the edge of my seat watching this!

Emily K

Thinking about you lately. 💛 Everything falls into place. This is a sick feat to overcome, Shiey — so proud of you. Thank you for bringing us along! Much love, always.

Shelby Mest

Same here. Was thinking about him. Got a notice new video out. Right away on that. Scary height thats for sure.

Swayze Crazy

That was amazing. Thanks for the experience of seeing whats it like to climb up and across. That fish eye lens really made things like really steep. Scary at times. And a given bonus a abandoned hotel to finish off the day.

Swayze Crazy

Shiey, confidently walking atop the mountain peaks. Is there anything humanly possible that you cannot do? But yes, this one scared the bleep out of me while filling my heart with beauty. Be safe, my friend.

Rue de Day

Usually, "more thinking than doing" translates to good things. From somebody your exact same age - congrats for taking a route I haven't dared myself

Andrea Tolosa

Terrific as usual Shiey!! Great job.

John Fisher

Awesome! It's always nice to see your new travels!

ZigZagKangaroo

Maddy M

Shiey you’re a freakin maniac man!!! A brilliant video!

Chad Baptiste

It doesn't matter if videos are coming once a month or once in 3 months, we all appreciate you uploading. Take your time and focus on your health first, its more important than our joy from your adventures Take care! ❤️

Seaneyyy

I was thinking about you today and suddenly there is this beautiful new video from favourite man !! Love it 🖤

Caireen

I haven’t even started watching it and I know it’s going to be awesome !!!

Ian

Beautiful, mystical mountains. I love the change in pace and the variation in videos. But I must say, this has been one of your more terrifying uploads to me. All I could envision were avalanches of rock. I’m so glad you didn’t share the same fate as your poor backpack lol.

Katie

Hell yes !

Alexander Lauritz Brink-Steen(ALBS)

5:44 that was close (look at the stone under left feet)

Maksymilian Zapała

You always surprise me with your new adventures. Beautiful views from up there ❤️
