Journey Across Bosnia & Herzegovina PT.4
Added 2021-06-19 19:08:12 +0000 UTCThe final stretch was the hardest to bike. At first, to my surprise, a big portion of the route was constant descending. That was the most fun and beautiful bike ride I've ever had. However, nearing the final 20km the climbing became very difficult. While it wasn't as steep as the previous day's, I was way more tired. With help of a single energy bar and some cheering up from local dogs, I pushed through and managed to reach the city of Konjic. Arriving there I've realized I want a comfortable night sleep to recharge and at least a full day's break from intense biking. While most of the journey was over, I still wanted to reach the final part, I had mentioned in the very beginning - the coast. Since BiH has very small and not very attractive sliver of shore, I had decided to take a bus to the closest coastal city of Croatia and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment while overlooking the seemingly infinite stretch of water, making everything seem simple.
Was a fun and definitely different type of trip. Currently I am chilling at home. Since I've finished editing this journey, which took me way longer than anticipated, I am back to working on music and planning my next trip. Hopefully I'll release the music project this summer and regarding adventures - I'll upload as soon as I have something filmed/edited.

I was in Military at this time, and it was pure hell, wasn't much better in Bosnia or Afghanistan

It was really nice to see it in a much healthier and built up state. While I was there much of downtown Sarajevo was still bombed out buildings from the war. I miss my time there.

The perspective that was captured from traveling by bike was amazing and admire the stamina it took.

Put that logo right on the front, white text on black shirts. Just pay a little extra for a quality brand of T's. Use a company that prints and ships for you. No need to do anything other than give them the vector graphic design, then collect your money!
