🎉GammaOS Core Beta 3 – Now with Allwinner A133P Support!

Hey GammaOS Insiders!

I'm excited to announce a special follow-up update—GammaOS Core Beta 3 now supports Allwinner A133P devices! This release brings the same fantastic improvements found in our Rockchip Beta 3 release, with a few tweaks tailored for the Allwinner platform.

GammaOS Core is our minimal version of Android 13 TV (based on LineageOS) optimized for low-powered devices like those powered by the Rockchip RK3566 and now the Allwinner A133P. We've focused on reducing the memory footprint and enhancing your device’s quality of life—perfect for non-touchscreen systems.

Features

• Boot from SD card

• Preinstalled and preconfigured software:

  • RetroArch

  • Daijisho launcher

  • MiXplorer (SD, FTP, LAN, Cloud, etc.)

• Rooted with Magisk support included.

• Quick Settings menu accessible via the power button.

• Mouse emulation mode triggered with Select + R1.

• Brightness control using the Home/Menu button combined with the Right analog stick.

• Relaxed Scoped Storage for easier file access.

• Expanded Device Support:

  • Added support for TrimUI Smart Pro & MagicX Zero28

  • (All other features mirror the Rockchip Beta 3 release unless noted below)

Known Issues

• Bluetooth is not functioning in this Beta for Allwinner devices.

• Keeping WiFi enabled during sleep may lead to increased battery drain.

• TrimUI Brick support is missing (coming in a future update).

• Headphone detection is currently not working—speakers will not mute when 3.5mm headphones are inserted (USB-C headphones work fine).

• Setting brightness to the lowest on the Zero28 might prevent the screen from turning on after sleep. Use the brightness shortcut (HOME/BACK + Right stick up or volume up) to adjust.

• No integration with LED controls or Function Switch on TSP yet. You can manually control the LEDs via adb shell by setting the brightness to 255 for the LEDs in /sys/class/leds/.

• Vibration support is not available at this time.

Install Guide

• Download the relevant device image parts using the link below.

  • GammaOS Core Beta 3 (Allwinner A133P) (ALTERNATIVE FOR ZERO28, BURN WITH RUFUS/DD: https://mega.nz/folder/Xrgm1QgT#a16uURJGvYyDC1LqAywOUQ)

• Extract the files with 7-zip using the following password:
  nui3n4$RF$3434f34f34f$F13224rtb

• Flash the image using the attached PhoenixCard tool with the settings provided below:

  

Note:

• DO NOT USE AMAZON BASICS OR CHEAP BRANDS. They are unreliable.

• A minimum of a 32GB A2 spec MicroSD card is recommended.
  Use cards with speeds similar to SanDisk Extreme (A2 for gaming) or Samsung Pro Plus. Low-quality cards may cause poor performance or boot failures.
