New Magisk Module: Fix for ANR on Low Memory Devices in GammaOS Core Beta 1
Added 2024-09-17 07:28:35 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
I’m excited to announce that I’ve introduced a Magisk module specifically designed to address the Application Not Responding (ANR) issue that some of you have experienced with GammaOS Core Beta 1 on low-memory devices. This patch targets the memory management improvements and optimizes system performance for a smoother user experience.
What Does This Fix?
For those running GammaOS Core Beta 1 on devices with limited memory, you may have noticed that apps were sometimes freezing or becoming unresponsive, leading to ANR dialogs. This module addresses that problem by optimizing system processes, preventing unnecessary resource usage, and improving overall system stability.
Download the module here:
GammaOSCore Beta 1 ANR Fix
How to Install:
Copy the GammaOSCore_beta1_anr_fix.zip to your device, either using USB transfer or other means.
Open Magisk Manager on your device.
Navigate to Modules and select Install from Storage.
Locate the downloaded zip file and install it.
Reboot your device to apply the changes.
I also recommend using the "Kill all background apps" option in the Power Menu when launching a new app to free up as much memory as possible!
Feedback:
I’d love to hear how this works for you! Feel free to share your experiences, report any issues, or suggest improvements.
Thank you for being part of the GammaOS community, and stay tuned for more updates!
Happy flashing! 🚀
