The response has been really lovely so far and we're very happy to get to work on regular webcomic updates again ♥ Welcome to our new patrons, too! Thank you to you and those who have been with us for a while, we really appreciate the support for our work that allows us to keep making these stories that we love to share!
I'm doing a little clean up on the previous LIFT pages we've posted here, reuploading the pages tonight as I post this. You might notice a few tweaks here and there (but mostly it's drawing in missed collars or nametags, oops)!
I'll be streaming again tonight after that's completed! I've been streaming on our Discord for the TOY omnibus pages when I need to focus in for a few hours. It's just a chill stream where you can see what is in progress with the inks; I'll be working on a few more pages starting around 11:30 PM EST if anyone on the art tiers would like to drop in and watch. It's a little on the later side for most of you, but my schedule usually shifts around a lot. For now, just know it's open to you as I get back in the habit of streaming again, even if it's a weird hour┠eventually it'll come back around to daytime hours. :) We added a ping role in the VIP Links and Roles for anyone who wants to be notified as the stream starts, but please let us know if you have any issues connecting your Patreon account to Discord and we'll be happy to troubleshoot. ♥

I mentioned the omnibus here on Patreon to you before the Kickstarter launched, iirc! I mentioned that it would be slated for several years out, and it still is; we're in the thick of creating it right now, and it will still be some time before it actually releases to distribution. An omnibus is "a volume containing several novels or other items previously published separately." We've been contracted to reformat the entirety of the TOY collection a graphic novel publisher. Our 6 (self-published) books will be combined into 3 (published by a publishing house) books, with the first 100 pages redrawn, and the word bubbles reformatted throughout each page. I've (Owena, to be clear) started a WIP journal on the $5 tier about what the work looks like. For the $1 tier, Suzana has been sharing her screen on Discord while she works on those first 100 pages on Discord.

2024-01-09 23:17:52 +0000 UTCThe drawing style is certainly a change compared with TOY. This page has no backgrounds at all. I can see how that's liberating for you. It's not really a big deal for me one way or the other. The characters still look like TOY characters! (I don't mean they look like themselves back then, just that they could walk into a TOY page and fit with the other characters.) It's kind of funny watching Liam walking around with his chin in his hand. What's he deliberating about? Or is that just what he does when he's nervous? Good job, Milo! Maybe he can drug Nora's water or something. Please explain about the "TOY omnibus." Thanks!
