Background Preference Poll
Added 2025-02-05 17:23:30 +0000 UTCI already asked for feedback on this topic but thought I would see what everyone else preferred! I was told the dark BG caused a loss of edges on the model, and the old light backgrounds I used were way too bright! The only problem with the midtone is that since a lot of my models are around the same color or darker, there is little to no contrast between them.
I found a toned-down light BG that I started using more recently as an example for this poll, and then the most recent mid tone and dark backgrounds:

2025-02-05 17:55:18 +0000 UTCDefinitely not the dark, the loss of edges is a big factor. I think medium and light are pretty comparable, and I'd be happy with either. A slight preference for the medium, as the lesser contrast actually helps me decipher the subtle changes in lighting easier.
