Re: Declined Payments

Last night, I received an email from Patreon about how some patrons may be experiencing declined payments. Something on the company's end is causing banks to either decline/mark a payment as fraud or cancel the subscription entirely.

Even though I haven't received any messages from you about this yet, the email told me to advise patrons to try the following steps:

  1. Contact their card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card
  2. If the retry does not work, try a different payment method. Patrons can edit their payments in their Settings, under Billing History


The issue might already be resolved, but I thought I would let everyone know just in case it wasn't!
