Character Creation Process Pt.2

Here is an update on this post!

I took all of the keywords I mentioned before and came up with these two sketches. Cecil (top) changed the most, but I think both of them still have that Old Hollywood vibe.

I kept coming back to Ava Gardner for Cecil. She had this mature beauty to her with stronger features that were closer to what I was picturing in my head.

For Sloan (bottom), I stuck to the original references. She's basically a combination of Katharine Hepburn and Lauren Bacall, with sharp cheekbones and all. I also really like how her hair turned out in the sketch.

I don't really know what I'll do with this story, but it was fun to share some of the process of creating them with all of you! 🖤
