Poll for January's mini ref pack + feedback post
Added 2021-12-08 17:32:28 +0000 UTCThere were a lot of requests for group poses, but couple poses are always very time-consuming, so I'll just save those for the larger packs instead! I will start including them more often too, maybe every few months starting in February. ๐
I would also love to hear from all of you. What can I do to improve the quality of the references? Are there any changes I can make to how I organize and name the files? How about the lighting and models? I want the references to be easy to use, so please don't hesitate to leave your suggestions below.
Of course, I'm still limited by Daz and my computer's rendering capabilities, but I will do what I can, where I can!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I will write down all of your suggestions, and keep the date thing in mind whenever I organize the references from now on.

2022-01-20 19:14:22 +0000 UTCI spent a bit of time tonight reorganizing my refs folder. For me, it's easier to rename the folders for each pack to put year/month at the beginning, so it's simple to see if I'm missing something and it keeps the pt 1/pt 2 sets together that way. The newer ZIP files are pretty well organized, it was more the older ones I had to do a lot of work with. I did have a couple of requests for future packs! I'd like a greatsword/two-handed weapon reference pack sometime to go with a lot of the other weapons reference. I'd also like to request references that are specifically composed for portraiture, with a bit more emphasis/interest from waist up or with hands closer to the face. I've made some great stuff with your packs with full-length models, but when I'm drawing waist-ups or busts it can sometimes be hard to keep my compositions fresh, and I like seeing the unusual angles from the turnarounds--it sparks something quite often! Thanks so much for all you've done so far, and I look forward to my future patronage~

2021-12-10 15:45:57 +0000 UTCI'd love more exaggerated perspective/foreshortening angles. And stuff like Worms eye, birds eye, etc!

2021-12-09 17:47:40 +0000 UTCSo you prefer the individual references to be in a single folder? I will have to see if I can find a good middle-ground for that because in the last post someone requested that I separate them. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

2021-12-08 18:13:14 +0000 UTCIt would be cool to have some additional renders in top-down (or vice versa) perspective! But honestly, the references are already really great!

2021-12-08 17:57:15 +0000 UTCThe references are fantastic as is, honestly! That being said, I tend to use the big sheets more often than the little ones, and I often remove the individual refs from the folders where they're sorted by model and put them into one big pool by theme. That may just be me, though!

2021-12-08 17:56:13 +0000 UTCThank you so much, Nikki!! I have actually been trying to use more contrast in some of the newer packs, so I will keep that in mind going forward. ๐

2021-12-08 17:45:57 +0000 UTCMaybe more contrast with lighting? But honestly I can't think of anything I would change or need - these resources you make are invaluable and I am so grateful you continue to create them. ๐
