I have an early preview of our new lost roads which will be renamed the lost city. Right now I have a set of roads that use a raised sidewalk. This will effectively make a close combat, trench warfare type scenario. It should be effective for RPG monster sweeps as well as tactical squad battles for everything from crossbows to laser guns. The building stones and road stones will match those used in the buildings of our latest releases, so if you want a Phlan type set up with our latest releases, it should integrate well. Right now I have completed one ruin to slide up to the road, It should improve with more ruins. Additional ideas that have come to me are:
1. Larger, taller building ruins away from the road,
2. Scatter rubble
3. Ruined sky bridges
4. Ruined aqueducts
5. Ruins with Cataclysmic damage. (Rocks shooting out of earth, earthquake ground layer shifts, craters from huge explosions.
6. Ruined outer walls
Feel free to add ideas. It is easy to look at this and imagine where it might go.
In addition to adding more ruins to slide up to the raised segments, I'll redo the initial road ruins so it can build up to a down town area, I'll add a left and right turn as well. The system will continue to use the original lost road/trail set for outskirt areas. Thanks for looking!
