Characters taking shape

I wanted to have an idea of the body type and height of each character so it would be easier once I started drawing them, so I did a set of quick thumbnails. When I was painting their faces I already knew how they looked, but it feels really good to have a visual to match, even if it is a small, messy one for now.

The only thing that isn't 100% is the clothing, though they are all wearing something close to what will eventually become their style. The biggest inspirations being the Victorian era, androgyny and a mixture of styles for the King and Queen. I am also referencing the middle ages for both of the knights.

I made two sheets that have the portraits I painted next to the figure to help all of you visualize them a little better!
