But at least we're almost done! I know some of you might feel like this scene is dragging on and believe me no one wants to get it over with as much as I do. But I wanted to get all of the unsaid things in this scene since it's the season ending. Thanks to all of you who share their insights! That really keeps me going!

I do agree with everything you say. But I feel like you might have misread, what Max was actually saying? Max didnt say, that Cole isnt allowed to be angry at him. But that Cole has been angry at him for who he is. And that for Month. And that is something, that shouldnt happen in a Relationship. Yes, you should be allowed to be upset. And you should be able to have a (healthy) fight. But for someone like Max, beeing angry at him for needing rules and time, isnt fair. And yeah Max did overanalyse a bit too much now. Maybe not entirely wrong, but nothing you want to say in a situation like this. 😅 But still what he said in the Chapters before, has a lot of truth in it. And btw. Max explizitly said, that he doesnt want to dismiss Coles feelings. While Cole automaticly dismissed Max feelings, whithout even listening. 😅

2025-09-01 21:23:35 +0000 UTCI think what Max is saying is really offensive. Don't ever tell the person who's confessing to you that they don't actually know what they feel. It's super condescending to assume you know better than someone else as to what's going on in their heads. Also, maybe I'm misremembering, but they were friends before, right? So Cole had plenty of time to develop a real idea as to how he felt about Max. You don't have to be in a relationship with someone to fall in love with them. You'll miss a facet of how that person is in specific situations, but that will be the case for however long you're with them, too. Assuming you can't be angry with you if they love you is very toxic, too. Very rarely do people find someone that they're never upset with. The goal is to find someone you care enough about to want to work through the rougher parts
