The Plan for 2024

Hi, all. This is a quick note to announce that we’re gearing up to resume episodes. Glen has a script due on Monday, so he’s not able to record until after then but we should be back in business pretty soon.

Here’s what to expect:

Week of January 8:

On the Patreon feed, a new Sailor Moon episode, this one looking into the genderqueer mystery that is Fisheye (and the previous Sailor Moon episode will go onto the main feed)

And then I’m doing a new video, about a weird Seinfeld thing. There will be some version of this that goes onto the audio feed as well.

Week of January 15:

The first new regular GEE episode of 2023, about the Frasier episode “Fathers and Sons” on the Patreon feed

The kick off of a new “movie club”-style episode involving the movie Heavenly Creatures, which will be viewable here on Patreon / maybe also on Vimeo (TBD)

Week of January 22:

A regular GEE episode about Mr. Ed that will not suck, I promise you

A bonus Backdoor Pilots

Week of January 29:

A GEE about the Simpsons episode “Lisa the Drama Queen,” which will also feature the “movie club” conversation about Heavenly Creatures

Unsure when Fox Files will debut. Schedules got a little pushed back from what I wanted to do in fall last year, but will update as soon as I know. There may well be more than this, but this is what I can commit to now.

Happy 2024!

This is so awesome. Thanks for this comprehensive list - you’re so much more communicative than most Patreon ……receivers? Artists? Anyway it’s so cool to know what I have to look forward to for the next several weeks!

I was literally thinking yesterday how you said you probably wouldn't do that episode of Frasier because it's really just a moment. And I thought you probably would anyway because you love to talk about Frasier so much. I've been listening to all of you Frasier episodes recently and you guys really nailed what the new series would be. By the way, as someone who watches a lot of British television, Nicholas Lyndhurst being on the new Frasier is basically the equivalent to Kelsey Grammer showing up for a British sitcom revival. Not quite, but you get the idea
