Easily, the weirdest thing about this episode of the otherwise-forgotten NBC sitcom Day by Day is the fact that it features Christopher Daniel Barnes, who’d go on to play Greg in the Brady Bunch movies, opposite a reunion of six of the nine original Brady Bunch cast members. But it’s also weird because it’s a footnote in the career of Julia Louis-Dreyfus. And it’s *also* also weird because it’s an early example of sitcoms going very meta about sitcoms. Also Courtney Thorne-Smith is also there!

Haven't listened yet, but I remember the Brady men all have perms gag and it being after the Brady Bunch was off the air. I thought maybe from some other special, but I guess that means I saw this when it aired. Also, Alf does the same thing with Gilligan's Island, which had I thought of when you did your list I would have suggested. Also, MASH has an episode like last week's Frasier, with war trauma nightmares and hilarity ensues, or something.
