Ads on the Patreon feed?

We are, as of today, officially partnering with Spaces, a new queer app that is sponsoring our episodes through the end of the year. It's a little like Discord, but our pages on it — one for GEE and one for Cartoons That Made Us Gay — will be open to anyone who wants in, and they also will be free. This is a big deal for us, as a podcast, because we are getting money and money pays for things. This is a big deal for listeners who are not on Patreon because 1) they can now interact with us/other queer TV nerds on the app, if they want, but also 2) at some point in the future episodes of Cartoons That Made Us Gay will be streamable via the app, meaning that people who don't want to shell out extra for podcasts can finally listen to out sister series in its entirety.
This does not greatly affect you all, since you wouldn't get anything from the app that you're not already getting on here and on Discord, aside from the satisfaction of helping us make our sponsor happy. So I'm wondering how you all feel about ads for this on this feed.
If they do run on the Patreon episodes, these spots would be informal — Glen and I talking in our voice like we do for everything, and not reading a script, and they'd be original every week. Also, you're still getting the regular GEE news roundup breaks in addition, though I feel like those will not be happening every episode.
So... all that said: Do you want to hear the Spaces ads on the Patreon feed?

2022-09-01 21:08:51 +0000 UTCFor me the biggest reason why I join any Patreon is so I don’t get ads. I very often use podcasts to help me sleep so shows with jarring ads are out. Your ads are conversational in tone and not jarring so that would suit me just fine. This is one of my most favorite podcasts so I’m obviously 100% for more support/$ for you guys & the podcast
