However, we hope this exploration of the 1987 nostalgia souffle that is Summer School will help you realize what a superior teen movie this really is. Even Kirstie Alley is good!

And the watch reignited the burned into my brain scene where Denise goes to get out of the car and still has her seat belt on. I remember cracking up to that after seeing it as a pre-teen. I hadn’t rewatched it in a while and had forgotten where it was from. But I laughed out loud the minute I saw it! Oh and Glen, the guy in the hat is also in the beach scene where they are playing volleyball!
