I know nostalgia plays into too, but I still enjoy it every time I watch. Maybe it’s because it felt like a grown up movie when I watched like I was getting away with watching something I shouldn’t! But my favorite line will still be “how’s your head?” To which Elvira replies “Haven’t had any complaints yet.” Once I got that joke I felt like I was such a grown up lol. And thanks for the shout out!! Elvira was def an inspiration for Monster High. I even tried to get the powers that be at Mattel to see if we could get Cassandra Peterson to voice the Headmistress and wanted to do an Elvira doll as an homage to her, but alas. It never happened. Even though I’m not at Mattel anymore, I’m hoping that maybe an Elvira doll will happen with her resurgence of popularity!
