GEE Movie Club for April: Watcher in the Woods
Added 2022-04-12 15:49:50 +0000 UTCYou now how live-action Disney movies got all weird in the late 70s and early 80s? Well, perhaps the best example of this trend is 1980's Watcher in the Woods. It's enough that it stars Bette Davis, future Real Housewife Kyle Richards and figure skater-turned Bond girl Lynn-Holly Johnson. But the fact that someone at Disney was like "hey, what if we did a horror movie?" puts it over the top.

Thank you for choosing this film, I really enjoyed it! A lot of it was actually beautiful to watch, and it was never boring, right up until the insanity of the ending. But honestly, no parent should let their child name a dog Nerak, that's just dumb.
