Most of the shows are based on real life things that happened to Larry and Jerry or the other writers. For example the show where George quits on Friday and goes back on Monday like nothing happened was something Larry did when he worked at SNL.

My dad once said about Seinfeld "I might like this show, if George wasn't in it!" He couldn't fathom him having friends, and didn't want to spend 30 minutes a week "hanging out" with him. But the rest of the family loved the show. Elaine and Jerry were my favorites, then George's Dad, who you will meet...Frank Constanza is a wild character!
