On the podcast this week, we're back from our little summer vacation and ready to tackle some saucy secrets. Angela's sneaking off to the boiler room with Jordan for make-out sessions, but that sneaking is starting to take a toll. Meanwhile Graham is the star pupil in his cooking class, but something may be cooking between him and a fellow student. And Rickie's aghast at the new English teacher's suggestion that he might want to join Drama Club.
Helping us break it all down is the delightful Sam Pirie. And then James and I discuss our own high school higgledy-piggledies (or lack thereof), a history of disembodied ladies, and the girlboss who lives in our hearts.

Good LORD, get that teacher out of the schools

2024-06-27 17:53:54 +0000 UTCMatt's wholesome story about their teacher reminded me how once a teacher gave a low score on an essay without any notes. When I asked her why she told me since I was better than the rest of the class I needed to be judged more harshly. Later she would tell in front of the class that she didn't believe homossexuality was real, because it would prove god was imperfect. She also made us read a book called "Leo's inheritance", Leo's inheritance was AIDS (but he finds god in the end).
