United Federation of Style: Ep 4 - Court Martial

This week’s romp is the episode “Court Marial,” in which Kirk is put on trial for being a butterfingers who accidentally bonked a button and killed someone. Or did he??? We’ll be discussing the appalling Jello-looking hors d’oevres they serve in space, the lusty gaze Kirk gives a judge, and one of my favorite Star Trek characters – a space-lawyer with professorial elbow patches and an oddly gnomish quality.
On next week’s episode: “Space Seed,” in which we meet Khan and his gorgeous chest.

2022-11-17 23:32:23 +0000 UTCMargarita Jell-O Shots Recipe courtesy of On a Stick! by Matt Armendariz, copyright (c) 2011 Ingredients: 80 cocktail picks 3 (6-ounce) packages lime or strawberry Jell-O 1 cup tequila 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice 2 tbsp triple sec Directions: Line a 9-by-9-inch baking dish with plastic wrap. Combine Jell-O powder and 2 1/2 cups boiling water in a large bowl and stir to dissolve. Add tequila, lime juice, and triple sec and stir until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and refrigerate at least 3 hours or up to 24 hours. Once Jell-O has set completely, turn out onto a clean surface and peel off plastic wrap. Cut into 1-inch cubes and serve on cocktail picks. Cheers!
