2 of the most frequent question answered - Webapp Guide #2

Friends,

I’ve got a lot of DM’s from people asking me various questions over the past few days, I’ve decided to answer two of the most frequently asked questions and I’ll share them with you today.

1. “What should I do if I got xx coins at the beginning?”

Maybe the answer you expect is, that I just tell you to snipe, flip or invest in players, but it’s actually not that simple.

Trading within the budget you’ve got is extremely important in Ultimate Team because you can optimize your profits by going with the best ROI.

For example: If you buy 10 Gold Rare’s worth 10k each and they double in price, then you’ll make a 100k profit. But if you buy one card for 100k, it’s very unlikely he’ll double in price, usually, you’d be looking for a 10% - 25% return on cards that are around 100k. Make sure you optimize your ROI.

If you’ve got a budget of 100k, it’s best to trade with cards that are worth around 5% of your budget. High-value cards tend to take longer to sell (Especially at the beginning), but there are also fewer high-value cards and you should stick with the low-budget options, to make the most profit at the beginning.

What does that mean now? You know, I'll provide you, with the best investments and flips at the beginning of FIFA 22, but obviously not all of the Investments are the right ones for you to make. The key point is really, to trade with cards that are worth around 5% of your budget. Again, if you have 100k, you shouldn't buy an Investment I show you, for 100k. Rather buy 10x a 10k investment.

2. "If I buy my team, how many coins should I keep for trading?"

This really depends on how much trading you feel comfortable with doing, and how much risk you’re willing to take. In the beginning, as Low Rated Meta cards can drop so quickly, I generally follow the 70-30 rule (70% Trading, 30% Team), as the year progresses and I get more coins, I usually spend more on my team than trading.

Always try to keep at least 200-300k lying around in your club, or at least in liquid. Because you may see an easy investment opportunity that you can capitalize on. This budget will also allow you to do most Trading Methods.

There are also some cards that are good to invest in but are also good for your team. For example, High Rated Metas before the full game release, Raphael Varane is a very usable card for example and he will also rise the first weeks of FIFA 22. Other types of cards include Road To The Final UCL/UEL cards and OTW’s or Icons if you do Icon Trading. Live cards are very volatile and can rise a lot if a team progresses/player has a great game.

I generally put more time into Trading than I do my team/gameplay as I’m a much better trader than I am FIFA player :)  but if your aim is to play with the best cards in the game, by all means, go for it. Losing coins is a major part of trading and it’s inevitable, but learn from your mistakes. People put too much time into trying to find the best time to sell or buy a certain card and end up losing value. Don’t try too hard to get that perfect purchase window.

We will give you guys tips and advice on when we feel that the market could crash / certain cards will drop but cards will generally lose value over time, especially usable cards as fewer people use them over time and the demand goes down.

This is my advice, but you’ll need to find the right balance for yourself.

Now you know how to use your coins best for investing at the beginning of FIFA 22 and you also got an idea of how much to spend on your team. Now we're just waiting for the game to release.

If you are still not subscribed to this Patreon consider doing that now, in case you want to make millions of coins in FIFA 22  and if you want to get more trading guides like that.

Also If you got any questions, write them below.

Much thanks,

Nico Hartung
