Bonus Video! The Time Will from Will & Grace Dated Goofy's Son

Good afternoon or whatever! I'm chugging away on a video about Will & Grace and wanted to share some more fun discoveries with you, including the time the actor who played Will said that he wanted his character to date Brad Pitt, and instead wound up dating Max Goof. Also! I stumbled across a VERY unexpected animated opening for a forgotten sitcom that appears to have been copied, a decade later, for the opening of The Simpsons. And big thanks to Fred for sending me a clip of a fever-dreamy crossover between the gay bondage movie Cruising and a cooking show.

I totally loved it too but had forgotten about it until just now. But for some reason I have always remembered that there was some sort of spoonerism involved and that it was solved when Robin realized that to turn back into a prince he had to break the ball at the end of her cane. (wording may not be exact, it's been many years)

Sharon Gless is amazing and a huge LGBT advocate. She was just interviewed recently on Judy Gold's podcast "Kill Me Now" if you're interested. She's a lead on Cagney and Lacey and the mom on the US Queer as Folk.

A queer kinky cooking show? Sign me up

Thank you for pointing that out, Tammy. I was about to say the same thing. LOVED that movie as a kid. :-)

just a nitpicky thing... "Tales from Muppetland: The Frog Prince" was the Jim Henson project that Gordon Thompson was in, not "Hey Cinderella". Correct footage, incorrect title. Sorry, I am a total stickler about that, because I can still to this day recite at least 90% that 33rpm record (I played it so much my parents had to buy me a second copy)

Hope you look into "The New Normal" while you're researching "Modern Family"; it's a sitcom produced by Ryan Murphy which starred Andrew Rannells and came out in 2012 (possibly trying to piggyback off MF's success) that only got one season. Here's the trailer for your consideration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgS_7ZSHqE4

You know what interview I'd /love/ to see? Interviews with either that roommate, or other folk who were at those bars when John Goodman went. Though while the roommate probably would remember it, I doubt his presence stuck out as particularly memorable to anyone else at the bar.

Dave Thomas, not the Wendy's guy, was also half of Bob & Doug with Rick Moranis. They're Christmas song is one of my favorites. And WOW! Those were some great impersonations of Wells & Liberace!

The Sharon Gless biography is really worth a read apparently there was complaints it’s really good

Matt check out the coming out episode of The Great North, it shows how far we've come! I thought of you and your videos the whole time :)

Huge fan of SCTV, and the Liberace Christmas skit is one of my all time favorites! Spot-on impersonations and great comic timing.
