Hello Mr. Moran! First time question here, hope the one of many. A few months ago my friends and I were talking about military matters and someone posted a Twitter post(see reference image I posted) of a Turkish Leopard 2A4 in Syria that has allegedly had its barrel fail from overheating issues. Have you ever seen anything like the image pictured in your service career or in your research that matches the failure and do you have an explanation to the effect of how this could happen if you do? Additionally as a tangential bonus question if possible, have you read into the experiences/combat performance of Turkish tankers in Syria at all?
