Livestream Date/Time
Added 2019-08-09 14:31:47 +0000 UTCGreetings, all.
It's time for me to nail down a date/time for the long-awaited live/chit-chat session with you guys. I'm thinking Friday evening, 23rd Aug, 9pm Eastern. Hopefully it doesn't conflict with anything important on the telly.
Watch this thread for an update on exactly how it's going to be done. Probably an unlisted Youtube live, with the URL here, but Teamspeak works too for just audio.
Let the voting commence.

2019-08-14 13:36:57 +0000 UTCTime and date are good. YouTube is good (seems to be the standard). In other streams the creators who allow submission of questions in Discord so they can be pre-selected have less chaotic Q&A sessions. Selecting a few channel moderators you trust helps keep chat session under control. I’d also suggest a five minute “Hi from city/country/AO/10-digit grid coordinate” rule, after which chat should be content-related. Just some suggestions based on my experiences in other venues.

2019-08-09 22:38:30 +0000 UTCI think Teamspeak might become a little cluttered if a lot of people show up - unlisted Youtube seems like the best option to me, with a house rule not to spam comments.
