Freak of the Week: Platypus!

This week's freak was suggested by DawnSnowe and Rachel Palmer! Thank you so much!! Now I know we've all already heard of the wonderful Platypus-- but this series is about freaks, be they a household name or not. And the Platypus is no exception! Everyone point and laugh at the nippleless weirdo.
I have to say the AI is out of CONTROL for pictures of the platypus, especially the babies (forgot to mention that a baby platypus is called a puggle hehehe) It's not as bad as the pink fairy armadillo was, but "scientific" articles about the platypus with all fake images were everywhere. This one had me lol'ing

Also hate the trend of making certain animal babies "cute" with AI. Like platypus babies are the cutest, fuck you very much! My favorite child of all time? Naked mole rats, you can't look at those perfect little pups and tell me they aren't perfect!

2025-04-15 20:36:00 +0000 UTCPlatypus is one of my favorite animals of all time! I love a good freak and when I first saw one as a tiny child I was hooked. I have facts! Like did you know females are also born with a venomous spur but it withers and falls off? I have 2 platypus fursonas because I have too many personal fursonas and also I love them T.T
