Freak of the Week: Choose your character
Added 2024-10-08 19:11:40 +0000 UTCHello my friends. Please give me all the freaks!!! The animal kingdom is full of weirdos like Binturongs and bobbit worms that deserve a lil love!
You can suggest as many creatures as you’d like. Real animals only please! Domesticated breeds that freak you out are great suggestions. Extinct animals are also very much appreciated. I’ll try my best to highlight them all and you will be credited! Don’t worry if someone has already suggested a critter, your voice still matters!! 🫵
If you’ve already suggested something I made sure to write it down! But you can suggest it again here if you want, it ain’t a crime. Do keep in mind if it ain’t freaky enough it may not make the cut, but don’t let that stop you! For example, maybe a grizzly bear IS the cutest animal and I would love to draw it, but it’s pretty well known so I might not choose it. However, a doodle terrifies me with their people eyes, and never actually got a breed guide, so that would be something I might include… the rules are flimsy but it’s my freak guide and dats how it is.
Thank you so much for being a patron! I’m so excited for this new project, & I think I’ll get to learn about a bunch of new animals, maybe some I’ve never even heard of!! Awww hell yeah!!!!!!!!

So many good options.

2024-10-09 06:22:50 +0000 UTCYou're so right. I recently learned they're in the Bible! "Proverbs 30: 24-28 24 “Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise: 25 Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer; 26 hyraxes are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in the crags; 27 locusts have no king, yet they advance together in ranks; 28 a lizard can be caught with the hand, yet it is found in kings’ palaces." I'm not religious but was shocked to find the little guys getting that kind of praise.

2024-10-09 05:49:05 +0000 UTCAww I was late recommend hyraxes, they're my favorite. thought of a few others: nudibranch, potoo, kakapo (and its cool cousin the night parrot 😎), coati, legless lizard, bedbug.
