Through my eyes, each major update is a mix of both eager and stress. Because in one hand I feel the joy to have new features, new quests, new awesome characters to mod but on the other hand I often have a lot of things to fix and above all the thought of imagining my subscribers dealing with their broken mods.
Of course, this isn't creator's fault but each time that happens it really gets to me. With this 2.6 version the damage is huge : every single mod I did is broken. And for a good amount of them it's not fixable with simple #hash swaps or data transfert. It means that for a few of them (only a few I hope) I might have to manually rework their 3d models again from scratch.
Of all the games I ever ever modded in my life, Wuthering Waves is without a doubt the most cruel with its mod creators. Those game assets "resets" doesn't even seem to have a proper purpose as I've never seen any clear improvements in models or textures. May be it's about small memory optimization or may be it's a strategic move just to discredit mods and mod creators? I don't really know.
Anyways! Enough crying for now. I suggest all of you to disable your mods while waiting for fixes. And of course since it's a priority I must pause all my upcoming releases progress for now. It might take quite some time but I'll take care of this sad mission. I hope you guys understand and nevertheless I wish you all a nice update and much luck for your pulls!
