Fate/Stay Night had a "sequel" visual novel called Fate/Hollow Ataraxia that was set in an alternate world of sorts where Servants were just sorta living in town alongside humanity. Like 90% of the game was just random slice of life scenes where the characters dick around. Although there was actually a (really good) ongoing plot that explained why all of this was going on. Lots of other cool shit in it too, like Medusa's reminiscing about her backstory. This show (and Carnival Phantasm) are pretty obviously based on it. Not set in the same world, just using the same general "servants living in town" setup that Hollow Ataraxia did.
