So it begins, Claryssa looks beautiful in her wedding dress! The bridesmaids are Betty, Daisy, Hayley and Darlene. Myrtle won't be around much, but it's important we see Claryssa's parents for the wedding. Hope you all enjoy! Some of the gals have certainly grown~

Schedule still shows 4 weeks in advance, I'm taking a vacation to avoid burnout between Claryssa's wedding and Trio Trouble's finale.

Have you ever just cried your eyes out being so happy for someone? Daisy, Claryssa and I had a moment at the start of her big day, thankfully consoling one another before it was time to do makeup. I figured a journal of the prep-work would be courteous, keeping the event about the bride and groom is what matters and I’ve realized I can be… ‘a lot’ in public settings these days.

My mom did some fretting about the fit of her dress, which is amusing since she’s not gained or lost a pound since having Daisy. Joyce was there to give her some loving support, which is SO satisfying to see. My mom deserves the love she’s been experiencing in recent months. Daisy and I do our best of course but she’s still a parent to us. A partner can help in ways we can’t.

Claryssa… It’s still too beautiful for words. She had reservations about how she would look in her dress, but trust me when I say this girl did not stop going to the gym in the weeks leading up to the wedding! Manny is fully aware of who he is partnering with and so we all knew it was for the best that Claryssa show off those strong arms with pride.

You can see it on the rest of the bridesmaids faces when they finally arrived: Darlene and Hayley bringing in Betty and the sister’s mother after doing their own prep. Her name is Myrtle and she’s incredibly kind. I smiled when I saw her with Betty and Claryssa, finally getting a sense of what people think when they see me and Daisy with mom.

But we couldn’t linger, a trolley would ferry the bridesmaids to the venue while mom, Joyce and myself would follow with the van. Transportation limitations would mean we met Beatrice, Roger, Floyd and everyone else there. After the absolutely phenomenal ceremony we enjoyed a reception and afterparty… I’ll have to show you all photos sometime. I loved every moment of it and am so happy for Claryssa. Send her love! See you all in April.
