What's next for this game?

I wanted to give you guys a glimpse at features I have been working on that aren't ready yet for release, but are nearing completion.

First of all, the player inventory system. Here you can view and change your outfit, travel to different locations, view and change NPCs you have discovered, and get an overview of your stats. This is nearly ready to go, just need to generate clothing icons and fix some minor UI problems.

Secondly, NPCs. There are currently no NPCs in the public release. This is because I've recently overhauled the NPC creation process which should allow for NPCs to be created much faster. There is also some optimizing to do. But here are some clips demonstrating what I already have working:

Third, I'm working on objects the player can interact with. This will include things like taking a shower, sleeping to pass time, sitting in chairs, etc.

"What about sex stuff??"

That's coming too! I don't want to show off anything yet since I am still working on the IK systems needed to get sex working with all the different character morph options. Without getting too technical though, once you have finished creating your character and are in the open level, the morphs get baked and removed. Not only does this improve performance, but it also allows for accurate collisions for things like hand placement during solo and duo animations. With a static character model, sex animations are fairly straightforward. With a large variety of customizable NPCs and a customizable player model though, much more needs to be taken into consideration.
