Cookies from the Big Berserk Exhibition

The original Tokyo venue for the Big Berserk Exhibition in September 2021 had some food items for sale, notably a Charlotte-themed Baumkuchen cake, beherit-themed "egg bread", and some cookies with special prints on them. You had to be there to experience these as they were discontinued afterwards. While foreigners couldn't attend the exhibition until 2023 because of the Covid-19 pandemic, I managed to get my hands on the cookies from someone who bought them but hadn't eaten them.

There were two versions: one themed after the Eclipse and one after "frenzied" characters. The Eclipse one makes a revolting pun: 蝕ッキー (SHOKUKKI—), fusing "Shoku" (Eclipse) and "Cookie". The other is 狂乱クッキー (RYOURAN KUKKI—), with 狂乱 meaning "fury; frenzy; madness". Hence why it shows Guts, Griffith and Mozgus is various states of agitation. Both variants were sold for 650 yen and contained four cookies each.

Now for the real question: did they have any interest other than as a novelty item? As you can probably guess, not really. They didn't have much taste and were unremarkable. Of course, the fact I ate them two years after their "Best Before" date might have been a factor. Maybe. 😜
