2025-07-03 18:06:59 +0000 UTCI think the peak was the few months right before and during the deep diving match between the cousins and Saki, which makes sense. So there’s definitely an incentive to have them dive that deep again, but there also has to be narrative payoff. It was the culmination of a story years in the making.. It’s harder to tell a story when no one involved can talk or breathe. Maybe that’s why you have Eri and her drone accompany them this time? Imagine the comments a seasoned diver like Eri makes while these three much younger girls show her just how far she has to improve. This is also why I’m advocating so hard for Tomokazu to be involved. We have one family represented by two divers as cousins, while Saki is all alone so far. I think it just makes narrative sense for her brother to become an active participant, even if he’ll never be on the level of his big sis. I imagine a day where he could give Eri a run for her money. Imagine the storytelling potential in that (it just has to be as he is, not as something he’s pretending to be)!
