I feel like if Chihaya did that Jun would even more strongly believe that she is a “mermaid” as that is some super human feat in a way

On the one hand she’s never been the kind of girl to brag about her exploits but on the other she is one of the world’s greatest freedivers. Just once I would like to see someone’s reaction to Chihaya’s boast. “Yes, I did swim two hundred and fifty meters down unassisted in a swimsuit and held my breath for over eleven minutes. I drowned on the way up, so that’s why I have to train.”
