Did Eri invest in an underwater drone? With a live camera, rather than just photo capable? I can already imagine the possibilities. The next time the cousins or the priestess head particularly deep, or decide to venture into a cave or shipwreck while they’re down there, Eri could be the watchful eye of the operation. This would even be useful when Saki decides to perform one of the priestess rites, as those can be remarkably demanding, even based on the little we know. I can already imagine the navy veteran trying to convince Aya or Saki not to push it, with both girls insisting (through hand motions and sign language) that they’re good to go, before heading inside a deep-water wreck, leaving Eri to park the drone right outside and wait for their reappearance. It would even be useful for Tomokazu’s training, sending him down to a shrine alone, but having his sister watching on standby just in case he gets into trouble. The possibilities truly are almost endless.
