I also just realized that since she’s falling forward the stone will be on top of her, making any sort of movement much more difficult for her. And Eri’s been unconscious and bubbling small amounts of air for a while. Maybe if Eri ended up inhaling some water she’d wake up and her training could allow her to keep herself from inhaling more? If she can hold off the instinct to keep inhaling they could make it out without either of them fully drowning. Though a waterlogged Eri does sound good too lol On another note, have we seen Eri need to be saved before? I don’t remember any true perils for her except for the drown-proof training
