After how poorly the last competition went for her, I’m surprised she’s so quick to the idea of another deep sea competition. It almost doesn’t seem like Saki realizes just how ridiculous her breathholds are. Sure, she knows the cousins, who are both superb divers, but she also knows her brother, and all evidence points to him being no better than your average 13 year old (though I would love to be proven wrong). I’d love to see these three (or four, if Aya wants to join) head underwater, you’d just have to give the two newbies some scuba gear. She could both show off her talent and get them to check out all the cool fish she sees on a daily basis. I imagine Eri could loan them some gear, as long as it’s to get their friendship moving along. After all, what good is being affiliated with the Dive Shop if you can’t give some less experienced divers gear to keep up with our “lung power monster”?
