Yeah, that figures. For as good as Saki is underwater, it’s not really a talent that applies when you’re actually allowed to breathe. Of the four strokes, only one of them has any real utility beneath water (the breastroke), and if even Aya can’t make it work in terms of speed, I doubt Saki could either. That said, I doubt her ability to go the entire length without coming up for air has gone entirely unnoticed, and we could still get a breath holding competition after they’ve done a few laps.
