2025-12-21 05:49:58 +0000 UTCThis isnāt a spoiler since it was said in this episode, but it couldnāt have been Lukeās son because he and Jocelyn were never together like thatāat least not back then. So it had to be Jocelyn and Valentineās son. Now, this still isnāt a spoiler, but this is just addressing your concern. If youād rather just watch the show and not know, donāt read further: I never watched the movie, so I canāt say if the āincestā thing is handled the same way there, but in the show itās not real incest. The real brothers storyline is actually interesting to me, at least. The sibling confusion does last for a whileāit kind of depends on what you consider a long time, but itās around 8ā9 episodes. Even with that plotline, the show stays good and, in my opinion, gets more interesting the further you go. So I hope yāall donāt drop it.

2025-12-21 03:47:34 +0000 UTCHis hate for Downworlders came from him thinking they were impure. Itās like all of his beliefs got amplified and turned into something way more extreme. His hatred of demons basically shifted into hating Downworlders for being half-demon. They even say in the episode that he wanted purity, and he saw Downworlders as unpureāthatās really the main reason he hated them. He (and, lowkey, some other Shadowhunters) thought they were better because they had angel blood. The whole Luke and Jocelyn thing was kind of secondary to him. His main focus was the āpurificationā idea, and the biggest reason he was mad at them at the time was because they stopped believing in him.
