I would like to see more ingame pregnancy that doesn't revolve around game over content. Overgrown is in a unique position where the game doesn't have to manage 9 month pregnancies or child management. She could have a fast paced pregnancy and give birth outside, -larva-puppies-seedlings-etc. Perhaps the spawns would skitter off and become adult mobs, could even have storyline effects.. or perhaps they grow up and become an evolved mob that roams in the area. The government, military base I'm sure would love monster babies to study, they might even get greedy at the prospect of brood mares pumping out disposable soldiers... lots of content to work with.
